Writing for Animals: Self-paced vs. Live

If you’re new to Writing for Animals and not sure how to choose between the live class vs. the self-paced class, here are how we view them.

The main reason to take the live class is for real-time interaction — not just with us but with fellow students. We also tend to update the class each time we run it so we might reference books or articles that are not included in the pre-recorded self-paced class.

However, the biggest reason not to take the live class is timing. Many people can’t make the timing work for them. Also, the two-hour classes can be long (compared to the 1-hour self-paced classes). So you’re looking at 8 self-paced classes vs. 4 live classes.

Regardless of which version you choose, you’ll be enrolled in our alumni network and be invited to free events, such as the recent Secrets to Submitting class.
